Endpoints
- GET /api/tree-models: the projects you can plant in, with prices.
- PUT /api/orders: plant trees. GET /api/orders/{id}/trees: the trees of an order.
- PUT /api/gifts: gift trees to any email address.
- GET /api/offset-products and PUT /api/offset-orders: buy and retire Verra and Gold Standard credits and RECs, with your end client's name on the certificate.
- GET /api/forest: totals for counters and impact widgets. GET /api/co2-estimate: a quick CO2 estimate.
- PUT /api/webhooks: signed notifications when an order is processed or an offset order is paid.
Authentication
Send your private key in the evertreen-user-apikey header. Create an account to get a key; orders are charged to the payment method saved on the account.
No developers?
Use the Shopify app or the no-code integrations instead: same projects, same prices, same forest page.

Does Evertreen have a public API?
Yes. The REST API is documented at evertreen.com/api with a downloadable OpenAPI 3.1 specification.
How much does the API cost?
There is no fee for the API itself. You pay per tree, from £1.00 ($1.00), or per tonne for carbon credits, at the prices on this page.
Can we resell carbon credits under our brand?
Yes. PUT /api/offset-orders accepts an external order reference and a certificate name for your end client.
Are there webhooks?
Yes, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the evertreen-signature header.
