Two ways to set it up
- Shopify: install the Evertreen app from the Shopify App Store, choose the project and the trees per order. No code.
- Any other store or platform: call PUT /api/orders from your checkout or order webhook. The API documentation lists every endpoint.
What your customers see
- A line on your store saying a tree is planted with their order.
- Your public forest page, with the total trees and projects, which you can embed on your site.
- Optionally, a tree certificate by email.

How much does it cost to plant a tree per order?
From £1.00 ($1.00) per tree, depending on the project. You pay only for orders that plant a tree; there is no setup fee.
Does it work with Shopify?
Yes. The Evertreen app on the Shopify App Store plants trees per order without code.
We are not on Shopify. Can we still do it?
Yes. Any platform that can send an HTTP request can plant trees with PUT /api/orders.
Can customers choose to add a tree at checkout?
Yes. You can plant a tree on every order or let customers add one; the API works for both.
