Availability. Evertreen does not run a project in Mai-Ndombe. An earlier Evertreen product funded certified carbon credits from the Mai-Ndombe REDD+ Project (Verra VCS 934), which is developed and operated by third parties; Evertreen acted only as an intermediary. That product is closed to new customers. The project’s current status is shown on the Verra registry.
The Mai-Ndombe province lies in the Congo Basin, the world’s second-largest tropical rainforest, home to species including the bonobo and the forest elephant.
